Should I Wear Make-up While I Have Serious Inflamed Acne?

Part of me wants to wear it because i'm uncomfortable with the acne, but part of me doesn't want to because i'm afraid that that is what is causing the acne, or making it worse. Up until now i've been wearing make-up every day...could that be why my acne is so bad and hasn't cleared up yet?

It is also important to use a moisturizer so your skin doesn't dry out. That really helped me. Right now I "double wash" my face. First with Cetaphil (you can get it wherever you buy cosmetics) which is an anti-bacterial bar of soap for your face. Second with whatever else I have at the time, right now Noxzema. Then I use an astringent. I am very impressed with Biore triple action astringent. After that, I let it sit on my face for a minute or two and then I use a shine control moisturizer. Then I put my makeup on. This has worked for me, I hope it helps you.
